IT’S ALL ABOUT ENJOYING THE JOURNEY…

I’m Felisha Bustos, an artist who thrives in the vibrant interplay of paint, dry media, and mixed materials. For me, art isn’t just about creating—it’s about connecting. Some of my most rewarding experiences have been collaborating with students and schools to bring murals to life. There’s something magical about turning blank walls into stories that speak to entire communities.

Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of working with groups like SHAC and the Family Center in my city, finding ways to weave creativity into the fabric of our neighborhoods. Mentoring upcoming artists is another passion of mine. Watching their confidence grow and their unique voices emerge as they step into their potential is incredibly fulfilling.

Whether I’m teaching private lessons, hosting online classes, or guiding students in person, my goal is always the same: to uncover the greatness that’s already within each student. There’s a spark in everyone, and I love creating spaces where that spark can ignite.

I currently live in Greeley, Colorado, where I studied at the School of Art and Design at the University of Northern Colorado. Before that, I earned my Associate of Arts Degrees in studio art, art history, and social science at Pasadena City College in California in 2016.

My artistic journey has led me to exhibit my work in various settings. I’ve held a solo show at the Atlas Theater in Greeley and participated in collaborative exhibitions at venues like Madison and Main Art Gallery, Armando Silva’s Art Studio, John Galt Coffee, and The Tointon Gallery. Each opportunity has allowed me to connect with others and celebrate the transformative power of art.

Every brushstroke, every lesson, every mural—it’s all part of my story, and I’m grateful for every moment of it.
